Bar-shouldered Dove
Geopelia humeralis

The Bar-shouldered Dove is a common dove that breeds from northern WA through to a little way south of Sydney. They are medium-sized (27-30 cm) and can be seen quite often in woodland, parks and gardens, more so in the north where it is warmer and appear to benefit from agriculture, which provides fields for foraging.
