Beautiful Firetail
Stagonopleura bella

A large finch (10-13 cm) that occurs in southern and eastern coastal regions of Australia and are more common in Tasmania. They live in grassy areas around forest and heathland and feed mainly on grass seeds. Their bright red rump and tails means that they can really stand out when seen.
