Emerald Ground-dove
Chalcophaps indica

Emerald Ground-doves (often just Emerald Dove or Common Emerald Dove) forage amongst the leaf litter in rainforests, looking for seeds. They occur from India through to Australia and many countries inbetween. They are moderately-sized for pigeons at 23-28 cm and easily idetifiable from their plumage.
