Terek Sandpiper
Xenus cinereus

Terek Sandpipers are small (22-24 cm), active waders which are easily identified by the yellow legs and upturned bill. They occur across North-eastern Europe and through to Eastern Siberia in the Northern summer and migrate to Africa, Southern Asia and Australia for the Northern Winter. They usually breed on marshes, but can be seen in estuaries and coasts during the Southern summer.
