Wedge-tailed Shearwater
Puffinus pacificus

Another common shearwater, similar in habitat and bahaviour to the Flesh-footed Shearwater. The easiest way to tell them apart is by the shape and colour of the beak (darker and thinner in the Wedge-tailed), colour of the feet and the shape of the tail. Wingspan 100 cm, length 38-45 cm.
