Australian Green Tree Frog
Litoria caerulea

This is a large frog, up to 11 cm in length and common across much of northern and eastern Australia. They often come into houses and are popular pets due to their placid nature and long life span (average 16 years in captivity). Generally, they are (like most other frogs) insectivorous, but will take small mammals and other frogs on occasion. They are good climbers - not only do they use their toes with large pads, but their bellies can also grip in the same manner.
