Spectacled Flying-fox
Pteropus conspicillatus

The Spectacled Flying-fox is one of the largest of its family and is native to the tropical north-east coast of Queensland. As with other flying-foxes, their diet mainly consists of fruit, which can bring them into conflict with farmers and is one of the reasons why they are listed as vulnerable, along with habitat loss.
