Painted Dragon
Ctenophorus pictus

A small dragon of the arid areas of the south of Australia, measuring just 7 cm from snout to vent with a long, thin tail. The males and females are different with the female having more white markings than the male in non-breeding colours. The breeding male is where the name comes from, with its bright blue and yellow skin.
