Royal Ctenotus
Ctenotus regius

These are a common lizard in much of southern and south-eastern Australia where they live in arid, sandy areas with open woodland and spinifex. They have a distinctive pattern of stripes on the back, which aids identification. Snout-to-vent length 7.3 cm.
