Razorbill
Alca torda

Razorbills are members of the Auk family, along with Puffins and Guillemots. They live mostly out at sea, except when breeding, so I was quite lucky to get these shots, however sketchy, from the shore. This is a 1^st winter bird with a shorter, unmarked bill and white patch showing on the flanks.
