(European) Robin
Erithacus rubecula

A very familiar bird to just about everyone. Robins abroad are not as bold as they are in Britain and it’s also worth bearing in mind that when Americans mention a robin, they mean the American Robin, which is related but quite different (which is why the robin looks a bit funny in ‘Mary Poppins’, according to my wife…). The first five are adults and the sixth is a juvenile.
