Grey Heron
Ardea cinerea

A fairly common bird, they can be seen fishing on lakes, rivers and even garden ponds. They will eat fish, frogs and mammals, occasionally as large as a young rabbit. Grey Herons are often seen in ones and twos, fishing along rivers or in lakes and ponds, but thay can form large colonies when nesting.
