Ravens are the biggest member of the crow family and are also the biggest of the passerines (perching birds). They are usually found near mountainous areas, remote woodlands and coastal cliffs. Their voice is much deeper than that of crows and they have a much heavier beak than crows with a distinctive diamond-shaped tail.
