Little Pied Cormorant
Microcarbo melanoleucos

The Little Pied Cormorant is a common bird over much of Australia, being equally at home on the coast as it is on inland waterways and wetlands. They are often seen with Little Black Cormorants, but are slightly larger at 55-65 cm. The juveniles can look a little like an adult Black-faced Cormorant, but the Little pied has a more yellow bill that is shorter with much less of a hook, The firs two photos are of adults and the last is a juvenile.
